10 days after.

10 days after the celebration of New Year, I finally have some time to update the blog.

I’ve noticed that a lot of visits came from yellowherbie’s kelate blog, terimo kasih la adik kakok (as YH would say). Hehe. I’m just his bestfriend, nampaknya terkena la tempias glamour YH kan. To those yang blur, YH used to write a beautiful blog on being a pilot – sharing his experiences. Tapi biasalah, manusia ni penuh dengan hasad dengki. Tak boleh nampak orang happy sikit nak menyibuk. So following orders, the blog was shut down. Though he continued writing about traveling on his other blog, things are never the same again. *sad* Kalau tengok live traffic feed tu, every hour ada je new visitor tapi his last post was in September. Someone asked on my formspring, kenapa YH dah tak update his blog, hm.. kenala tanya dia sendiri ok. 

Okay, on a happy note. New Year passed with a lot of laughter. Cuti seminggu kot! We went back to Kota Bharu for Nadeem’s Aqiqah. No big celebrations with pelamin or tent, just a simple kenduri for friends and family. He had his “bercukur” do when he was 3 weeks so this time around just another sunnah to fulfill. My gorgeous son is now 10 months ++. Dah boleh berjalan sikit-sikit. Maybe because he’s tall and heavy? Hehe.




We came back to KL after several days. I forgot how I hate the distance. Jauh! Lepas 9 jam baru sampai rumah. *pengsan* Mental note to self to just buy the flight tickets! Ok, kalau last minute, mahal? Balik jugakla dengan kereta kan. Humph. I spent the next few days lepak. Jumpa kawan-kawan. And sometime in the office too, packing my stuff. YES, I’m now in my new office for training. Menara TM! Where everyone is busy working or preparing for meetings that they don’t have access to FB and Twitter during office hours. Hehe. But jap, tu cerita kejap lagi.

Nak cerita New Year’s Eve dulu. Thanks to Muhaiza for hosting the dinner. Siap main game tu. Hehe. Nik, Zarie and Emi pun join skali. The chicken was yummy! I baked Red Velvet for them. Sapa nak order, email me at hunny0308@gmail.com I can do normal big cakes or cupcakes. Sedap, betul ni. :D

Kelam kabut jugakla buat kek tu. I was hired for a marketing research job from a company in Japan and they wanted the documents to be submitted on the day before NY. Masa tu jugakla nak writer’s block kan. Hours passed by and I didn’t start until 2 hours before submission time. Terpaksa extend for another couple of hours. Unprofessional, I know but I just didn’t know what to write! Alhamdulillah, bila dah dapat idea tu terus je duduk depan laptop sampai siap. Payment received 5 days after. :D

Other than that, I was finishing up my business plan for Masquerade Creations, my event management company. The blog is not 100% running yet but click to have a look ok? Credit to Ninie for the “Creations” word. Don’t be a Winklevoss and sue me 5 years from now for the idea tau! Haha. Sekarang ni kecil-kecilan dulu, it is going to be a wing of Masquerade Holdings (ini tidak wujud melainkan angan-angan kami haha). Amiin.

Back to my new office story. As you probably read before, I’m in Menara for an on-job training for 6 months. I’ll be stationed at 3 different LOBs: Wholesale, Marketing and Corporate Communications. This is my second week here and I’m already learning a lot. Banyak teramat kot the processes! Rasa diri ini keciiiiiiiik je sebab my own office tak banyak cekadak. Hehe. Let's see how it goes okay.
